Truly an AVATAR..

They say that an avatar is an incarnation, a manifestation of the divine to save the world from destruction...and so i guess James cameron was right in naming his film "Avatar"....!!

*Read ONLY after you've seen the movie!!*

I personally thought that it would be just another technically brilliant movie from the rich Hollywood and wasn't really dying to watch it! But guess what?.. its far far far more!! Like the last time (Titanic) i could not escape the sweet hangover after watching it!! ;)
Avatar has a message, a very powerful message to humanity...Its a pun or in plain words a slap on the face of Man and his foolish, arrogant, ways. Its a warning to Mankind that says 'Hey start counting your moments...'coz dude they're gonna end...very soon!!!'

*Pandora is a wonderful place (like our earth), with trees that communicate to each other (same here-its already been proved), with animals and birds that are marvelous (same here), and above all with human like people-- na'vi, who are wise and sensitive enough to know that they are not mere bodies but that in each of them and in every living being there is a spirit that always is,was and will be a part of the Universe and while the body has to die some day, the spirit unites with Eywa. They know that no matter what, they are a part of the nature. And because they are wise and know these ultimate truths of their world, they respect their Eywa, their Mother Nature and are in complete harmony with it. They respect their fellow beings...no not just towards other na'vis but also towards animals, plants, trees and even floating seeds!! (And us on earth...??##$%^&*)

Jake sully falls in love with his new avatar (a much better option compared to his own disabled body),with Pandora, Its forests, its culture, its spirituality, its people and most of all with its Princess...Neytiri and finally emerges as their leader in their fight against the invading money minded, heartless, arrogant,MANiacs!! The movie ends with jake's soul becoming a part of his new avatar completely and forever..!!

Its a beautiful movie with many many messages to the mankind--Spiritual,environmental and apparently political [pun on US foreign policy according to a close source ;) ].

*In Greek mythology, Pandora (ancient Greek, Πανδώρα, traditionally derived from πᾶν "all" and δῶρον "gift", thus "giver of all", "all-endowed") was the first woman.[1] As Hesiod related it, each god helped create her by giving her unique gifts. Zeus ordered Hephaestus to mould her out of Earth as part of the punishment of mankind forPrometheus' theft of the secret of fire, and all the gods joined in offering this "beautiful evil" seductive gifts. Her other name, inscribed against her figure on a white-ground kylix in the British Museum,[2] is Anesidora, "she who sends up gifts,"[3] up implying "from below" within the earth. According to the myth, Pandora opened a jar (pithos), in modern accounts referred to as "Pandora's box", releasing all the evils of mankind— although the particular evils, aside from plagues and diseases, are not specified in detail by Hesiod — leaving only Hope inside once she had closed it again.[4] She opened the jar out of simple curiosity and not as a malicious act.[5]
